BELL
Shape:
-
Large Taper
-
Bell diameter: 145mm (5.7")

This bell has a medium taper throughout, but it's just a bit larger than average, which makes it great for producing a broader sound.
The final flare diameter is quite oversized compared to common trumpets and combined with the copper stem produces an incredibly wide range of tone colors, increases projection and a warms the sound.

This results in superior note targeting, accuracy and enriches your sound.

This horn produces a full-bodied sound complete with shiny overtones and warmth in all registers, at all dynamics. It is ideal specifically for Jazz soloists/non-classical players who prefer an oversized bell horn.
We do not recommend this horn for orchestral players or Lead players.
An XL or XL2 cup will obviously have a huge tone but the really amazing combination with this horn is just how rich and full-bodied the medium cups sound. The M cup sets off a canopy of shimmering sonic fireworks over everything with the horn applying a filter of deep saturated tone color.
This horn plays with incredible stability and agility and gives the player wings to musically go places they'd never even dare to try with most oversized-bell horns.
