BELL

​

Shape: 

  • Large Taper

Bell Material:​

  • Flare: Phosphur Bronze

This bell has a large taper throughout, which makes it great for producing a broader sound.
​
The final flare diameter is quite oversized compared to common trumpets. This combined with the copper stem gives access to an incredibly wide range of tone colors, all with a wide projection.

LEADPIPE

  • Machined in Yellow Brass

  • 1.1mm (.043") wall thickness

Our leadpipes are machined from a solid rod, to the highest standard of accuracy. This is a rare and difficult manufacturing process, but it’s worth the extra effort — You get greater note stability and stronger projection.

TUNING SLIDES

Available with 3 Slide Options:

  • Yellow Brass – Most flexible note targets with a traditional sound

  • Phosphor Bronze – Gives more stability and a richer, fuller sound

  • Nickel Silver – Locks you into the notes and enhances brightness
     

The material of the tuning slide matters, a lot. It greatly affects the sound & feel of the horn. If you haven’t experienced this before, you’ll certainly will once you try them.

Each trumpet comes with:

  • Light weight top caps

  • Medium weight bottom caps

This horn produces a full-bodied sound, complete with shiny overtones and remarkable warmth in all registers, at all dynamics. It’s ideal for soloists who prefer an oversized-bell horn and want the biggest trumpet sound possible.
​
We do not recommend this horn for Orchestral players or Lead players. The sound is simply too large to match conventional trumpets in a section.
​

  • With a deeper mouthpiece, like the XL or XL2 cup, you gain access to an incredibly fat and creamy tone quality.

  • ​Our M & M2 cups pair very well with this horn, adding shimmering fireworks, while the horn applies a filter of deep, saturated tone color. 


  • With our S, XS & XS2 cups, this horn becomes a beast, giving you an enormous sound for exciting upper-register solos. 

 
This horn plays with great stability and agility, and gives you wings to musically go places you’d never even dare to venture with most oversized-bell horns.
